Mourad Zerhouni, 33 anni, tedesco ma originario del Marocco con i suoi 149 centimetri di altezza è la più piccola drag queen del mondo. Disabile dalla nascita, ha trascorso metà della sua vita in ospedali e istituti per portatori di handicap. Le sue gambe sono di lunghezza diversa come pure le dita delle mani e dei piedi e ha un solo occhio. Eppure è riuscito a superare i limiti delle sue disabilità e a trasformarsi in un artista che calca il palcoscenico dei club di Ibiza integrandosi perfettamente con i ballerini.
Antoine Timmermans, 48 anni, olandese, con una laurea all’accademia di belle arti e alle spalle una storia familiare disastrata e seri problemi psichici, ha scoperto Mourad e le sue straordinarie abilità di performer lo ha aiutato a creare il personaggio BayBjane, la perfetta controparte del suo alter ego Cybersissy.
“One Zero One” è un ibrido spettacolare e visionario tra documentario e performances dal vivo, una favola sull’amicizia tra Antoine e Mourad che sono stati capaci di superare le loro disabilità grazie ai loro esuberanti alter ego di drag: Cybersissy e BayBjane.

33-year-old Maroccaine-German Mourad Zerhouni, is, at the height of 149 cm, “the smallest drag queen of the world”. Multi-disabled since birth, he has spent half his life in hospitals and homes for the handicapped. His legs are of different length, he has no regular toes, no regular fingers and just one eye.
And yet he has managed to overcome the limitations of his disabilities and to transform himself into a performer who shares the stage of Matinée Group parties on Ibiza with perfectly built go-go dancers and shines even brighter than them.
48-year-old Dutch Antoine Timmermans, academic educated artist, and burdened with a disturbing family history and serious psychic problems of his own, discovered Mourad and his skills for being a performer and helped him developing the stage-persona BayBjane to match his own alter ego Cybersissy, making him the perfect counterpart for their successful club-performances.
